Another State Finals Rodeo has come and gone. It is amazing how the same event can be so different from the previous year. Of course this year the rainy weather had a lot to do with that. Talk about a bunch of folks who can make the best out of any situation. The rain added an additional level of 'competition' as the contestants performed arena Belly Flops and were 'judged' by the Splash Score Card folks. The Mud Arena even lent itself to a fundraising challenge activity with the $ going to help off set medical expenses for two injured cowboys. This was truly a memorable State Finals.
Our 'HATS Off' to Three Pines Productions.....
This was our first attempt at LIVE STREAM on this web site and Thanks to Three Pines Productions, we are receiving RAVE REVIEWS! This added feature was very much appreciated by folks who could not join us in person and also by contestants who watched the replay in the Haynes Pavillion Lounge area. Kent and Mary worked through the minor hic-ups with stead fast focus so all could enjoy our rodeo. Aaron and his crew at Little Apple Technologies were also instrumental in bringing the action to your computer monitor.
